At Live Healthy MD, we strive to provide excellent medical care and to treat all of our patients in a timely manner. Our physicians and staff work hard to accommodate your schedule and to provide the care our patients want and need. In order to be consistent with this, we have a Patient No Show and Cancellation Policy. Our staff puts in a great deal of time and energy to schedule appointments and procedures. When an appointment is missed or cancelled without reasonable notice, that time cannot be used to see another patient and results in inefficient use of staff, physician and patients’ time.
We recognize that from time to time, patients have emergent events arise that are out of their control. We, therefore, do not apply any No Show or Cancellation fees in the case of an emergency event or when there is reasonable notice as defined below. The cancellation fee will be applied for the following:
1. $25 if you cancel your office visit in less than 24 hours or do not show
2. $50 if you cancel your EGD in less than 24 hours or do not show
3. $100 if you cancel your surgery in less than 48 hours or do not show
If you plan to attend your appointment but will be late, we kindly ask that you call our office to let us know so we can make appropriate efforts to accommodate you and avoid charging a No Show Fee.
